WCSS Welcomed Delegation from SNUSD and held WCSS-SNUSD Joint Symposium
A delegation from Seoul National University School of Dentistry (SNUSD), led by Dean Professor Ho Beom Kwon, Associate Dean Professor Ji Man Park, and Chair of Dentistry & Head of International Affairs Ji Woon Park, visited West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University (WCSS SCU) on December 9th.
Dean Professor Xianglong Han warmly welcomed the SNUSD delegation and the two parties delved deeply into faculty and student exchanges, joint scientific research projects, and other collaborative endeavors. Both WCSS and SNUSD expressed positive expectations and visions for potential future collaborations, outlining a shared vision for growth and advancement in the field of stomatology.
In the afternoon, the "WCSS-SNUSD Joint Symposium on Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Science ", jointly organized by the WCSS SCU and SNUSD, was successfully held. Professors Ji Man Park and Ji Woon Park from SNUSD, as well as Professors Junyu Chen and Chunjie Li from WCSS delivered presentations on digital technology in dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorder diagnosis, bone tissue regeneration, and minimally invasive head and neck tumor treatment. This was followed by an engaging discussion session, characterized by lively interactions between the faculty members and students. The symposium was chaired by Vice Dean Professor Shen Jiefei.
As Korea's oldest and most prestigious dental education institution, SNUSD’s visit signifies a pivotal moment in enhancing the academic and research collaboration between WCSS and SNUSD. This vital interaction deepens our bonds and lays the groundwork for future collaborations.
