West China School/Hospital of Stomatology ranks first of Dental Institutions in the Natural Index
Recently, the Nature Index released a new issue of data from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. West China School/Hospital of Stomatology ranks the ninth in healthcare institutions and the first in dental institutions in China.
The Natural Index was first released in November 2014 and has become an important index for evaluating the output of high-level academic achievements of scientific research institutions. The natural index mainly calculates according to the number of research papers published by scientific research institutions in 82 natural science journals including Nature Series, Science and Cell in the previous year. Eighty-two source journals are classified into four categories: Chemistry, Earth and Environment science, Life science and Physics science.
